# WHAT THIS IS. A hand-written list of word stems that a generated coinage must
# not contain. A phonotactic generator samples from a real language's sound
# inventory, which means it will eventually produce a real offensive word by
# accident — that is not a hypothetical, it is arithmetic. Any candidate
# matching a stem below is discarded and resampled. Discarded candidates are
# never displayed, only counted, so this list describes what the app refuses to
# show rather than anything it has shown.

# WHAT THIS IS NOT. It is not exhaustive and cannot be. It covers English plus
# the vulgarities in a handful of widely-spoken European languages that are
# well known as naming traps; it does not cover most of the world's languages,
# and it does not know what a coinage means in a language nobody on this list
# speaks. The app says so on screen. Treat a clean result as "no obvious
# collision found", never as clearance.

# MATCHING RULE. A stem of four or more letters matches anywhere in the word.
# A stem of three letters or fewer matches only at the start or the end of the
# word, or as the whole word. That asymmetry is deliberate: substring-matching
# short stems is how filters end up rejecting "assam", "cockatoo" and
# "Scunthorpe", and over-blocking a word generator makes it useless in exactly
# the flavours where short syllables are the point.
